About Those Picture Books

The last post, I said I wanta talk about the mangas I have read, known or own. Hummm mangas. Everybodeh love mangas right? Right? *crickets* Oh well. It’s a piccie book for grown up kids! I mean, there’re tons of genres you can choose from, just like books! The difference between a manga or comic (whichever suits you tastebuds) and the normal book is that, well…. A comic can explain a situation in one panel when a book will have to explain it in a whole page. Oh well, I’m too heavy-assed to give a demonstration so just let it be okay?
My reaction to giving a decent explanation to you guys.

If by manga, the first one that pops out to my head is the ancient, well you can say ‘classic’ ones like DragonBall, Crayon Shin-chan, Dr. Slump, Doraemon, Slam Dunk and etc. I grew up surrounded by mangas ya know. My brother and sistah are crazy for these books. Well, at that time, they’re still priced along RM2-RM3 per book. So damn cheap looh. Compared to nowadays… RM4.50-RM5.90… Ughh that doesn’t count the English translation ones…. Can go up to RM50 per book. Hurgghh the pain and torture… but if people look up to individuals who bought novels as their hobby, why won’t they do the same to people who buy comic books?
The concept that comics are for kids hung around our asses like flypaper to body hair. (lolwut)
Those people need to be shown some hentai and yaoi, for kids my nether regions.... SARAH and MIRA do your magic and tantalize the non believers with the power of your gay porn comics!
SERVES THEM RIGHT INDEED.
My friends are creepy yaoi fangirls. Bllleeeeerrghhh.
By the way, Mira where the heck’s your blog?
I'm waiting fer yer blog Mika Mira Amirah Dzulkiflee...

Oh wow, well, back to comics/manga/picture books.

As I said just now. The classics. Hum… the first comic I have evar read EVAR is don don DON…

Even looking at this picture gives me that warm feeling of childhood memories.
Doraemon~ Ehe hehehe… I love Doraemon, up until now if I had the chance to have one in my hand I’d surely read it over and over and over again. why? Because it is deeply implemented in mah childhood memory~ You know as a kid, all you wanted in a book is the cool stuffs right? You don’t freaking care about the storyline or dynamic entries or cool looking people and what not.
Show a kid this pic, and they'll be like 'Meh' and 'Oh okay'. Show this a hormonal teenager and they'll be like 'OMG THAT'S LYKE THE COOLEST KAKKOI-est THING EVAR!!!!!1!!!!" hoo boy, cat-ears and tail, megane long-white-haired bishonen, bandages (suggesting bondage~)... Wow. Oh well. I'd take Kuro Karatsu and Kaiman anyday than these two.
All I ever wanted as a kid is the ‘Fishing Gum’ that Nobita uses to fish out the stuffs that appear in the telly. Oh how I will fish out every single KFC fried chicken that appears on screen, plus I’d like to fish out the stuff Nigella Lawson bakes~ And I’d fish out that guy from ‘License to Grill’ so he can grill some ‘batang pinang’ at my kampung~~ And OH! And the hot male models for perfume ads! Just for the heck of it!! Muhahahah!
Gotta catch 'em all! Oh I love this piece of hawtness SO MUCH.

My first memory of seeing a nekkid cartoon character was Shizuka bathing. Now when I think about it, that may be the reason for the sudden need to ‘learn’ about the human bodeh. (Well for me atleast) y’know how kids are so like ‘BOOBIES!’ and suddenly they come up to you and pinch your ass? Well, I think comics are to blame… What don’t look at me I don’t pinch butts when I was a kid, whaaat…
Oh little kids and their tendency to walk up behind you and poke you asses..

But hey, Doraemon is a very awesome manga, lively, creative, cute and makes me dream of how things would be so much awesome-er with technologies, even as absurd as in the comic itself. It's the first comic that made me realize that the world is practically littered with endless possibilities. Even if Nobita is a bitchy, whiny crybaby...

One bad memory though, my brother used to own the WHOLE SET if the Doraemon comic, then one of my cousin (uncle to be exact but age gap so small so we don’t care) borrowed it. Then he kinda gave her GIRLFRIEND to BORROW OUR mangas. The WHOLE SET.. and when they broke up. She never returned it. FU*k you damn bitch. Gimme back all of my bro’s investment on comic books! RRAAAGEEEE!!!
Return the books BIATTCHH!!

Mmm anyways.. I just gotta bring this rotting blog outta the internet grave of porns, havoc and japanese weirdness. Ah bloggie, how thee art abandoned by thy writer.
Ah, how bout sharing a pretty awesome ghost story with y’all.
I didn’t write this, so enjoy it~~

A man went to a hotel and walked up to the front desk to check in. The woman at the desk gave him his key and told him that on the way to his room, there was a door with no number that was locked and no one was allowed in there. Especially no one should look inside the room, under any circumstances. So he followed the instructions of the woman at the front desk, going straight to his room, and going to bed.

The next night his curiosity would not leave him alone about the room with no number on the door. He walked down the hall to the door and tried the handle. Sure enough it was locked. He bent down and looked through the wide keyhole. Cold air passed through it, chilling his eye. What he saw was a hotel bedroom, like his, and in the corner was a woman whose skin was completely white. She was leaning her head against the wall, facing away from the door. He stared in confusion for a while. He almost knocked on the door, out of curiosity, but decided not to.

This disinclination saved his life. He crept away from the door and walked back to his room. The next day, he returned to the door and looked through the wide keyhole. This time, all he saw was redness. He couldn’t make anything out besides a distinct red color, unmoving. Perhaps the inhabitants of the room knew he was spying the night before, and had blocked the keyhole with something red.

At this point he decided to consult the woman at the front desk for more information. She sighed and said, “Did you look through the keyhole?” The man told her that he had and she said, “Well, I might as well tell you the story. A long time ago, a man murdered his wife in that room, and her ghost haunts it. But these people were not ordinary. They were white all over, except for their eyes, which were red.”

OH SHIT FUUUUUU---------

Next up, my god where are the One Piece spoilers!?!?!
And just when you thought I wouldn’t be talking bout some nonsense manga, right? WRONG

Okay now last time I talked about Kurosagi’s Corpse Delivery Service, ‘aight? Awesomeness comic-us. Seriously, like, I wasted more than RM300 on those alone, coming close to RM400 now. Oh yeah.
